Full-Time Maintenance Position

The Town of Carbondale is accepting applications for our Parks Department full-time benefited Parks Maintenance position. Position performs maintenance and construction duties on Town parks, athletic fields, open spaces, playgrounds and public facilities such as mowing grass, landscape, irrigation systems and general maintenance duties. Light equipment operation is a requirement of this position.  A valid Colorado driver’s license is required. Physical exam, pre-employment and substance abuse testing will be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a salary position with benefits. The Town of Carbondale is accepting applications for a seasonal vegetation management and landscaping position with our Streets Department. Position performs landscape maintenance duties primarily in landscaped and native seeded public right-of-ways. Job tasks and duties include: weed management, landscaping, gardening, maintenance and other duties as assigned. Valid Colorado driver’s license is required. Physical exam, pre-employment and substance abuse testing will be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Starting pay will be $16.00 per/hour depending on qualifications.
