Hatha Yoga Classes

IMG_5075Classes will increase your range of motion, facilitate relaxation and release tension through focusing on posture, alignment and breathing. An excellent way to relax and de-stress. For all fitness levels!

Yin Yoga

Jan 2 – Dec 31 | 07:30 AM – 08:30 AM

A slow-paced style of yoga with postures or asanas that are held for longer periods of time.  The aim is to increase circulation in joints and improve flexibility.

SilverSneakers Classic

Jan 2 – Dec 31 | 09:15 AM – 10:30 AM

IMG_5099Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with  handles, and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and standing support.

Motion Mondays

Jan 2 – Dec 31 | 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM

This action-packed program is for preschoolers who want to ride!  Bring your own scooter, Strider, Razor, tryke, bike, or any other wheeled contraption to the gym.  We will set up an obstacle course to ride in, on, and around.  The bounce house will also be set up.  This is a parent-supervised program.  Parents or caregivers must remain in attendance and supervise their children at all times.

Ages: 0-6 years (children under 1 are free)
Day: Monday
Dates: Ongoing (No May 28 or September 3)
Time: 10:30-11:45am
Cost: $5 member/$6 non-member/Preschool Play Pass (1 punch/per child)

Interval Training

Jan 2 – Dec 26 | 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

This 30-minute class is designed to provide a great strength training/cardio workout in a minimum amount of time.

Days and Time: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-6pm

Core Cardio

Jan 3 – Dec 27 | 08:30 AM – 09:30 AM

IMG_5196A great combo workout starting with 30 minutes of cardio followed by 30 minutes of total body sculpting using the Pilates method that restores muscular balance while strengthening and stretching the body focusing on ones abs and back.

Days and Times: Tuesday & Thursday, 8:30-9:30am (No classes April 12, 17, and 19)

Chair Yoga

Jan 3 – Dec 27 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

IMG_5135Move your body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Taekwondo

Jan 3 – Dec 27 | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Students learn the popularmartial art of Taekwondo, while improving balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility.  Classes are designed to meet the needs of all abilities  and levels, from a family activity to competition training.  Taekwondo abides by the tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.  Sahn Taekwondo classes taught by nationally and internationally certified instructors, Ms. Cedar Rose Guelberth, 3rd Dan, and Grand Master Richard Hodder, 9th Dan.  Six-month pre-registration discounts available.

Tai Chi

Tai ChiCome to this class and leave feeling calm, refreshed, and energized through a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner.

Health benefits include relaxation, balance, flexibility, and strength for people of all ages.  If you are stressed at work take a lunch time break and come feel the energizing effects of this class.

Tai Chi is a great counterbalance to yoga or alternative if yoga is not right for you.

Foam Rolling

Jun 2 – Dec 28 | 07:00 AM – 08:00 AM

Uncover everything that foam rolling has to offer to help keep your body in its proper alignment.  Learn what all the different varieties of foam rollers are used for.  Multiple class sessions are used to target different muscle complexes such as hip flexors, quads, shoulders, neck, and low back.  This class is designed to keep athletes functioning as their bodies should.  Foam rollers provided!

Days and Times: Friday, 7-8am

Zumba

Sep 6 – Dec 26 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

A total workout, combining all elements of fitness–cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy, and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class!

Nia

Spinnerval Core Blast

Jan 3 – Mar 28 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

This class will include interval training on the bike, weight/body weight training, and core blasts.  This class will be a tough, but low impact workout.

Winter Adult Coed Volleyball League 4 vs 4

Jan 8 – Apr 2 | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Jump, set, and spike your way into our 4-on-4 Winter Volleyball League!  This league is fast-paced and action-packed, offering nothing but a great time to those involved.  The league will consist of regular season play, followed by a single-elimination or double-elimination tournament (depending on how many teams register) to determine the league champion. In addition, the league is self-officiated with teams making their own calls.

Ages: 18+
Dates: January 8-April 2
Cost: $200/team
Days: Mondays
Times: 7-10pm
Min/Max # teams: 8/12
