The Carbondale Recreation and Community Center has switched to summer hours. From Friday, June 3-Thursday, September 8 hours will be as follows: Monday-Thursday 6am-9pm, Friday 6am-7pm, Saturday 9am-2pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. The CRCC will be CLOSED on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Join us downtown for the parade and at the pool instead! Free watermelon and ice cream sandwiches!

Carbondale 4th of July Celebration

Jul 4 – Jul 4 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Have a great time on July 4th with a real old fashioned family celebration.  The fun begins with a kids’ parade down Main Street that ends in Sopris Park where there will be food, crafts, children’s games, chalk art projects, free watermelon and ice cream sandwiches, and music!  $5 pool entry for everyone!

10:30am-38th Annual Kids’ Parade down Main Street (Come in costume, decorate your bike, wear your uniform, play an instrument, do a routine, etc)

11:00am-Sopris Park and Pool Celebration (Community Pool Party, free watermelon and ice cream sandwiches, games, food, live music, and more!)

*Staging for the parade will be on 2nd Street
